OUR COMPETENCY

Gypsum Shanghai R&D team has been developing the key competencies and know-how for years, accumulating R&D and industrial experiences from the international communication, cross-functional projects and intensively close support to customers.

Robustness Plasterboard

Multiple functional robustness plasterboards are developed with high performance of screw and pin nail fixing and anchoring ability, E0 emission (formaldehyde free), and Class A reaction to fire. It is superior to replace the wood board for building interior decoration.

High Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)

Our R&D team established essential techniques to develop the IAQ performance in both plasterboard and building plaster products, which is enable the products with high formaldehyde purification efficiency.

Building Plasters

Saint-Gobain Gypsum is the first leading company in China to promote the high coverage plasters for wall treatment, targeting the high-end market of high construction efficiency, high quality and cost-effective.

Gypsum raw materials

Our R&D team has extensive knowledge and complete tools for gypsum raw materials characterization, selection and treatment, which help to guarantee the raw materials to meet the high requirement for production and processing.

Analytical measurement

The team is equipped with full capacity to analyze the gypsum raw materials, slurry behavior, plasterboard and building plasters performance. The team contributes many valuable know-how and testing methods for the reversion and upgrade of GB standards. The team is also equipped with full capacity to analyze the fiber-cement board (FCB) raw materials, board performance, and their composition.
